some text

Princess Priscilla Cobbinah born in Kumasi with a first degree in Natural Resources Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Princess is a passionate person with interest in design and crafts making which depicts the beautiful culture and heritage of the Ghanaian society. I got the chance to work with a local craftsman who is talented in the making of Ahenema (a traditional type of footwear from Ghana that are typically designed by hand using beautiful embroidery or weaving) through observation and learning cultural and artistic insights with transmission of knowledge, learning the intricate techniques of weaving, stitching, and embellishing the slippers. The slippers are made from natural materials like leather or cloth and are known for their comfort and durability. Vibrant colours and designs that showcase Ghanaian cultural elements and workmanship and are popular for both daily wear and as traditional dress for formal events. As a result, people from far and near are drawn to the outstanding and rich culture of Ghanaian craftsmanship which are shown in these slippers.
