I am Kamya Cyprian Nyanzi 25 years of CParts Studio from Uganda in East Africa, an artist who draws inspiration from Nature and African Culture. I am a creative artist, talented, professional and passionate about art; a researcher about different kinds of art; and use art to change people’s lives. My Art is always informative and storytelling which I got from my grandparents. They used to sit with us narrating to us stories of war and conquest among the East African Kingdoms. There were a quite number of Art and Crafts that my family used to make as part of the skills training, of pottery, baskets and wooden carvings. From a family of artisans with Music, Art and Craft; I was blessed with a painting skill which has helped me to survive. The Art Piece here shows how the Musical instruments are being eroded/fading and are being replaced with modern instruments. This leaves the future generation with no knowledge of making, playing or even appreciating them.
