My name is Emmanuella. I am a Nigerian fashion designer and am Accountant by profession . Growing up, have always envision myself as a fashion person, put together my own design, thought of what I wanted to wear and how even with limited knowledge about fashion . This sparked my passion for garment creation. I was determined to craft as many dresses as possible for myself which led in creating outstanding pieces for other woman in need of a gorgeous outfit. Creating pieces felt so magical to me and prompted me to pursue formal training in Abuja, Nigeria, after completing my education. This dress is called "LABAKE”, She's a woman that's "ought to be cherished".She's derived from Africa, emphasize on it's culture, applies it to her visibility: socially, creativity and beauty. She's a Modern Afrocentric Woman. Fabric choice: Aso-oke and net lace . The aso-oke was inspired by what she represents/root. The aso-oke, a prestigious handwoven fabric which over the years has successfully held it's own SPECIALITY,also to making a BOLD STATEMENT . The net lace is inspired by modern fashion hence she's a TRENDY AFROCENTRIC WOMAN.
