My name is Joy Murugi an art student at BuruBuru Institute of Fine Arts in Nairobi Kenya. Art to me is a lot of things just to mention a few that I really enjoy for example photography, tie&die and pottery. I find abstract art very intriguing and personally, that is the approach I take when it comes to my paintings or drawings. My art is of self-expression, self-discovery and self-growth as well. My pieces may either be messy, minimalistic or amicable. This painting shows a white background with blue wavy lines and circles, black swirl patterns and spattered with white paint, to give a bit of messy effect but also adding a bit of character to it. Creating patterns on a surface is as well something I enjoy doing This is a painting that I really loved creating especially because it shows part of my style as an artist
